Kumite 1 League makes its debut this coming Saturday (September 29) in Mumbai. The first Indian Mixed Martial Arts promotion is held at Dome at NSCI SVP Stadium, featuring a live scoring MMA competition contested by Team India up against Team UAE. The inaugural event is launched by former undisputed heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson.

On Friday the promotion shared “Team Snap” on Facebook. The photo features the participants of the event at the press conference held a day before.

According to the most recent fight card, which the organization presented via Twitter, a light heavyweight battle between Bulgarian Kamen Georgiev and Argentinian Martin Ottaviano has been cancelled. The matchup fell off “due to problems linked to the governments,” Diario La Vanguardia reported.

In addition, a previously announced lineup has been slightly shuffled. A lightweight bout between Hardeep Rai and Mohamed Fawaz was moved to the main card. A bantamweight contest between Kantharaj Agasa and Amr Elshnshoury is now featured on the preliminary card.

Also, welterweight Hayder Hassan received a new opponent, Hemant Wadekar, who replaces Haytham Elsayed. As well, Nelson Paes stepped in for Swapnil Barve, taking on Ahmed Aldarmaki at bantamweight. The updated lineup can be found below.
