UFC 229: Khabib vs. McGregor weigh-in results

UFC 229 takes place at T-Mobile Arena on Sunday morning, October 7 (AWST). In the main event the defending lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov faces the former two-division champion Conor McGregor.

At the official weigh-in ceremony conducted a day before the fight show, “The Eagle” tipped the scales at 155. “The Notorious” weighed-in at 154.5.

The final faceoff took place at the ceremonial weigh-in. The fighters had to be separated after McGregor slapped Nurmagomedov’s front hand, and then threw a front kick.

The main card also includes a lightweight battle between Tony Ferguson (155) and Anthony Pettis (156). As well, Ovince Saint Preux (205.5) takes on Dominick Reyes (204.5) at light heavyweight, and Derrick Lewis (265.5) squares off against Alexander Volkov (251) at heavyweight. In addition, Michelle Waterson (115) meets Felice Herrig (115.5) at women’s strawweight.
