Prokick: Kickboxing-bill made in Clayton Hotel Belfast

‘Back at the Clayton’ fight card finalized

The World Kickboxing Network returns to Northern Ireland with the next edition of “made in Prokick” event presented by Billy Murray. A Sunday-special is held tomorrow night (Oct. 14) at Clayton Hotel Belfast featuring an eleven-fight bill with local and international competitors.

On Friday the promotion finalized a lineup of the upcoming show. The four-fight main card follows a preliminary card comprising seven contests.

A replacement opponent has been announced for Rowena Bolt, who now faces Italian Valentina De Santis. The latter steps in for Irish Chloe Quinn who was forced to withdraw due to injury late last week. Completing the main card, the bout is scheduled for four rounds at catchweight with the limit of 50 kg.

The previously announced novice fighters Ed Healey and Halszka Trabczynska are no longer presented on the roster.

Top of the bill is an international welterweight contest between Johnny Smith and Periklis Filippou of Cyprus. The co-main event features Darren McMullan up against another Cypriot, Nikos Kollias.

Also on the card Matthew Kerr faces Shane Weir of Scotland. The pair meets in a rematch battling out for WKN Celtic Super Welterweight title.
