UFC Fight Night 142 takes place at Adelaide Entertainment Centre on December 2. The event is headlined by a heavyweight battle between Junior dos Santos and Tai Tuivasa.

Australian Jake Matthews has been recently confirmed for an upcoming event in Adelaide, where he takes on American Tony Martin. The bout is scheduled for three rounds at welterweight.

Matthews (14-3) is coming off the first-round technical submission win earned against Shinsho Anzai in June. Before that he scored a unanimous decision against Li Jingliang at UFC 221 in February, and took a split decision against Bojan Velickovic last November.

Martin (14-4) is riding a two fight win streak. In his previous outing at UFC 229 earlier this month he knocked out Ryan LaFlare in the third round with head kick. In April he claimed a unanimous decision against Keita Nakamura.

In addition, the fight card has been recently topped up by two other welterweight matchups, featuring Yushin Okami up against Alexey Kunchenko, and Keita Nakamura face off Salim Touahri. The list of announced bouts includes another welterweight clash between Geoff Neal and Luke Jumeau, and a lightweight battle between Ross Pearson and Joseph Duffy.
