Buakaw Banchamek vs. Yodsanklai Fairtex, Muay Thai legends fight set

Buakaw vs Yodsanklai – “It’s happening”

The Kings of Muay Thai Buakaw Banchamek and Yodsanklai Fairtex are scheduled to face one another. The “MAS Fight” promotion has announced the bout on Thursday via a post in social media.

The talks of a super fight between two Muay Thai legends started mid 2017. They were expected to battle it out this year. No confirmation has been made until now.

“Thailand’s ‘Global Fighting Icon’ Buakaw Banchamek and Thailand’s ‘Global Mega Star’ Yodsanklai Fairtex will clash on MAS. The time for talking is nearly over… Have a little faith and patience because ladies, gentlemen, boys and girls, it’s happening,” reads the announcement.

Meanwhile, Buakaw Banchamek is back in the ring this coming Sunday November 4. Going through the ropes in Pattaya he headlines the sixth edition of All Star Fight facing off French Gaetan Dambo.

Yodsanklai Fairtex returns to action on December 7 in Malaysia. Making his second appearance at ONE Championship he takes on Australian Luis Regis in Kuala Lumpur.

The date and place of a highly anticipated matchup between Buakaw and Yodsanklai is yet to be announced. We will have more information as soon as it becomes available.

In addition, on November 10 MAS Fight hosts an event in Macau, where 2.24 m tall Korean Hong Man Choi squares off against Chiense Yi Long of 1.76 m height. The bout is scheduled for one 9-minute round. To win the contest a competitor is required to score a knockout, otherwise the bout results in a draw.
