The World Kickboxing Network returned to Slovakia this past Saturday (Nov. 3) with “KNOCKOUT III” held in Kezmarok. The event presented by Jozef Kusmirek took place at City Sports Hall Vlada Janceka featuring a ten-fight bill with WKN national title contested in the headliner of the show.

Jozef Kolodzej and Milan Kratochvila squared off in the main event battling it out for WKN Slovakian Super Middleweight strap. The scheduled for three rounds bout in oriental kickboxing (K-1 rules) ended prior the final bell.

In the second round the latter produced a spinning back fist which dropped his opponent to the canvas (video can be found below). Following an eight count, referee Josef Klein waved the bout off, consequently proclaiming Kratochvila as the winner. In addition, a new Slovakian Super Middleweight champion took the second win against Kolodzej, following their first encounter several years ago.

In the co-main event Samuel Hadzima reportedly came out victorious from his 65 kg bout against Jurai Tutura. The undercard featured a series of kickboxing, boxing and Muay Thai bouts.

KNOCKOUT III was the third WKN championship event produced in Slovakia this year. The previous show was held in Bratislava early October. In March, World Super Middleweight title was on the line at Simply the Best 18 Poprad: Idranyi vs. Colin.

In addition, the organization announced that Fighting Edition 2 in French Orchies was rescheduled for April 27 (via Twitter). The event is expected to feature WKN European Super Cruiserweight title fight between Sofian Laidouni and Jacky Jeanne.
