Although it’s only Tuesday I’ve found this old footage of Misagh Norouzi in his first Muay Thai bout. He started training in Muay Thai with Top Sangmorakot and myself in January 2015. Three months later he was already in the ring.
Misagh Norouzi made his Muay Thai debut on March 21, 2015 in Perth. The scheduled for three rounds amateur contest went the distance. His opponent took a split decision.
Over the course of the same year Norouzi went through four more bouts and recorded three victories. The next year he fought once only winning the fight in March, which preceded an injury, broken hand.
Two years later Norouzi returned to action in June 2018 and since recorded two more victories. His most recent bout was at Domination Muay Thai 21 held late last month.
We are looking for a few more bouts here in Australia, prior hitting international stage. As for “Teep Tuesday”, a clip from his bout in October can be found below.
