UFC Denver results: Yair Rodriguez KO’s Chan Sung Jung

UFC Denver (Fight Night 139) took place at Pepsi Center on November 11 (AEDT). The event featured 12 MMA bouts, celebrating the 25th anniversary of Ultimate Fighting Championship.

A featherweight battle between Chan Sung Jung and Yair Rodriguez topped the fight bill. The scheduled for five-rounds bout ended one second before the end of the final round with Rodriguez scoring a knockout win with elbow.

Welterweights Donald Cerrone and Mike Perry squared off in the co-main event. The bout also ended prior the final horn with “Cowboy” taking the win by submission in the first round.

Also on the main card Raquel Pennington earned a unanimous decision against Germaine de Randamie. As well, Beneil Dariush scored a unanimous decision against Thiago Moise. In addition, Maycee Barber stopped Hannah Cifer in the second round, and Mike Trizano took a split decision against Luis Pena. The complete fight results from UFC Denver can be found below.
