UFC Argentina fight card: Cezar Ferreira faces Ian Heinisch, Tom Breese out

The dust has barely settled after the last weekend’s UFC Denver (Fight Fight 139), where Ultimate Fighting Championship celebrated its 25th anniversary. And yet, we are moving on to the next event held in Buenos Aires on November 18 (AEDT), which marks a debut of the leading MMA promotion in South American capital of kickboxing.

In addition, Argentina was also a host of a recent Simply the Best episode (series 23) produced this past Sunday in San Luis, where two WKN titles were contested on the top of the fight-bill.

UFC Fight Night 140 takes place at Estadio Mary Teran de Weiss in Buenos Aires. A welterweight battle headlines the event featuring Neil Magny up against Santiago Ponzinibbio. The co-main event is a featherweight bout between Ricardo Lamas and Darren Elkins.

According to reports, a middleweight bout between Cezar Ferreira (13-6 MMA) and Tom Breese (11-1 MMA), expected on the main card, has seen a late change. The latter was replaced by Ian Heinisch (11-1 MMA) who makes his UFC debut stepping inside the Octagon on a short notice.

MMA Fighting reports that the change has been confirmed (according to its sources), following the initial announcement by Combate. The promotion is yet to make a statement regarding the matter.

With a change, the fight card for UFC Buenos Aires looks as the following:
