The President of the World Kickboxing Network Stephane Cabrera and WKN Director Osman Yigin travel to Central Asia in 2019. “The list of countries featured on the roster includes Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan,” the organization announced Saturday.
The visit is dedicated to continue kickboxing development worldwide, evolve the sporting relation, giving an opportunity to countries, that are less put forward, to organize A-class events and compete on the international level. The travel to Central Asia follows the visits to Tanzania, Zanzibar, Iran and Nepal.
In addition World Kickboxing Network announced three championship events scheduled for the next year in France (via Twitter).
Mickael Lopes da Veiga goes through the ropes on February 2, 2019 aspiring to capture WKN World Middleweight title. The contest is held in Les Mureaux.
Benjamin Gerbet is scheduled for WKN European Middleweight championship taking place on March 16, 2019 in Villejuif. The names of their opponents are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
The previously announced Fighting Edition 2 in French Orchies has been rescheduled for April 27. The event features WKN European Super Cruiserweight title fight between Sofian Laidouni and Jacky Jeanne.
