UFC Fight Night: dos Santos vs. Tuivasa

The Octagon returns to Australia with UFC Adelaide (Fight Night 142) held this coming Sunday (Dec 2). MMA event features a series of international matchups with a heavyweight battle between Tai Tuivasa and Junior Dos Santos topping the fight-bill.

Flyweight Kai Kara-France of New Zealand received a new opponent, American Elias Garcia. The latter replaces Ashkan Mokhtarian who was forced to withdraw last week due to “concussion-like symptoms”.

“The 25-year-old [Kai Kara-France] has rattled off five consecutive victories to earn a call up to the big leagues this weekend, where he will square off with Roufusport prospect – and Lookin’ for a Fight alum – Elias Garcia, who landed on the wrong side of the result in his UFC debut earlier this year,” reads the One The Rise: Adelaide Edition on UFC.com.

In the co-main event “The Super Samoan” Mark Hunt meets Justin Willis at heavyweight. Also on the card a light heavyweight encounter between Mauricio Rua and Tyson Pedro.

The expected bout between lightweights Damir Ismagulov and Alex Gorgees is yet to be formally confirmed. The lineup for UFC Adelaide can be found below.
