WKN kickboxing events in France, Poland and Germany

The World Kickboxing Network visits France, Poland and Germany tonight, Saturday Dec. 1. “The WKN European, world junior, and national titles are on the line on the same day in three different countries,” reads the announcement.

French Akram Hamidi faces Maltese-Italian Samuel Andolina on the top of Steeve Valente promotion billed as “Ultimate Muaythai / K1 Rules” in Strasbourg, France. The pair battles it out for WKN European Bantamweight title in oriental kickboxing.

The event follows a recent WKN European Featherweight title clash held in French commune Vitry Sur Seine in November. The “Rampage Fighting” saw local Franck Mazoyer scoring a unanimous decision against Slovakian Dominik Antl.

The fight card of the upcoming show also includes Belgian Ougo Huet, who is fresh of the win against French Said Moufek at Simply the Best 24 held late last month in Farciennes. Going through the ropes in Strasbourg a protegee of Osman Yigin takes on the representative of the country-host Jordan Demarche. Muay Thai bout is scheduled for three rounds at catchweight with the limit of 61 kg.

Polish Justyna Ciborska takes on Swedish Felicia Larsson at the “Silesia Boxing” event in Katowice, Poland. The contest is for WKN World Super Featherweight junior title.

The event is the third visit of World Kickboxing Network to Poland this year. WKN National Middleweight title was contested in October in Zawiercie. In May, World Super Heavyweight Championship – Mozny vs. Sarara – was featured on the fight card in Warsaw.

The X’ite Fight Night 6 in Trittau, Germany features a series of kickboxing, boxing and MMA bouts with national title contested on the top of the fight-bill. The roster includes Florian Kroger, Kerim Hudur, Ian Krause, Mo Mussa, among others.

Earlier this year WKN has held a series of championship events in such German cities as Rostok, Halle, Neumunster and Sax Dolzig. The previous event in Germany was held mid November in Demmin, where Qurban Hosseini earned WKN International Bantamweight title against Massi Rahimi.

In addition, the organization has scheduled three events for 2019, as well as a visit to Central Asia.
