WKN Italy: Invictus Arena 25
The World Kickboxing Network returns to Italy on December 15 with Riccardo Lecca promotion billed as Invictus Arena 25. The event takes place at PalaSantoro in Rome, following a three-championship schedule the organization held this past Saturday (Dec. 1) in France, Poland and Germany.
Invictus Arena 25 features a series of kickboxing, boxing and MMA bouts. The event is headlined by a pair of WKN Grand Prix contested in a format of four-man knockout tournament. The roster includes local and international competitors.
The first Grand Prix is a 65 kg international contest. Among the participants, Francesco Picca represents the country-host. Fresh of the win at Simply the Best 24, Xavier Lejour is coming from Belgium.
Also on the card Dennis Haddad of Germany, and Petru Morari of Moldova. The latter replaces previously announced Italian Bruno Michele.
The second Grand Prix is a 75 kg all-Italian tournament. The roster includes the likes of Armin Dokic and Roman Kozak. As well, Francesco Palermo and Fatmir Gordi have been recently announced as the participants, replacing Luca Migani and Piergiulio Paolucci.
Among kickboxing bouts featured on the undercard Redha Jahuari meets Roberto Oliva at 61 kg catchweight. In addition, Luca Carnevali squares off against Filippo Saba a 81 kg match up.
