ONE Destiny of Champions: Yodsanklai Fairtex vs. Luis Regis

The King of Muay Thai Yodsanklai Fairtex is set for his next fight facing off Australian Luis Regis tomorrow night (Dec. 7) at The Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The pair headlines the final ONE Championship event for 2018, billed as “Destiny of Champions”.

Yodsanklai Fairtex vs. Luis Regis is a Muay Thai encounter at featherweight. The bout is scheduled for three rounds with the fighters battling it out in MMA gloves.

In a recent interview with the promotion Yodsanklai said that he expected to score a knockout win against Regis.

“He is big and tall. He has good elbows, knees, and kicks. [But], I predict that I will win by TKO,” said The Contender Asia (2008) winner Yodsanklai.

On the other hand Regis stated that he was not scared to face the man considered as one of the greatest Muay Thai fighters of all time.

“It’s an accomplishment to share the cage with him, but I feel good, I’m not scared by it. My mind is 100 percent focused. I’m not worried about what happens after, I just want to beat him and move forward with ONE.”
