A flyweight bout between Kai Kara-France of New Zealand and Raulian Paiva of Brazil has been recently added to the card. The matchup has been announced by Stuff.co.nz, with the following report by MMA Junkie, after the fighter from New Zealand has confirmed his outing with a post on Instagram. The promotion is yet to formally announce the contest.
Kai Kara-France (18-7, 1 NC) is fresh of the win by a unanimous decision against Elias Garcia at the recent Fight Night 142 held in Adelaide. The event marked his UFC debut.
Raulian Paiva (18-1) is a new-comer, who is riding a 12-fight win streak since late 2015. His resume includes the wins against Allan Nascimento, Iliarde Santos, Lisrael Pereira Figueiredo, among others.
The UFC 234 fight card also includes a middleweight battle between Israel Adesanya and Anderson Silva. Other bouts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. The current lineup can be found below.
