Bellator & USO Present: Salute the Troops

Lightweight title is on the line on December 15 (AEDT) at the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu, Hawaii when Bellator and USO present a special MMA event billed as “Salute the Troops”. The contest features the defending champion Brent Prumus up against the former two-time titlist Michael Chandler.

In addition, the pair meets for the second time. Their first encounter ended in favor of the current champion who won the fight as well as took the belt by TKO in the first round.

At the official weigh-in ceremony Primus tipped the scales at 154.9. Chandler weighed-in at 153.9.

A heavyweight battle between Javy Ayala and Frank Mir serves as a co-main event. Stepping on the scales Ayala showed 263.4. Mir declared 250.4.

Also on the main card a featherweight matchup between Daniel Crawford and A.J. McKee. Both fighters weighed-in at 146.

The event is dedicated to honor the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces. The full fight card and weigh-in results can be found below.
