World Kickboxing Network tops up event calendar

A series of international events scheduled for 2019 with WKN World, European and subordinate titles on the line in Poland, France, Slovakia, Northern Ireland, Spain, among other countries, World Kickboxing Network announced on Wednesday.

Last year the organization has held the events throughout Europe, North and South America, as well as in India, Japan, Thailand, Australia, among other countries.

“In addition to the previously announced schedule Malta and Argentina have been added to the calendar. Both countries are the prominent participants of kickboxing world with a number of recognized champions competing internationally,” reads the announcement.

As well, mid last month the organization announced MMARCA TV programme on MARCA TV. MMA events held in Spain, are expected to feature local and international Mixed Martial Artists battling it out in qualification tournaments, with the winners earning a shot to contest for WKN titles.

Nine events have been announced for 2019 to date. Six dates and locations have been confirmed. The dates of the rest of the schedule is expected to be determined in the coming weeks.
