Four WKN titles on the line at Full Contact Night Nice
The World Kickboxing Network returns to French Riviera on June 15 with the next edition of Full Contact Night presented by Edmond Ardissone. The event features four WKN championship bouts with three World and one European title on the line, reads the announcement Monday.
Jerome Ardissone (31-4, 7 KO’S) tops the fight bill making the first defense of his WKN World Bantamweight title in Full Contact. Frenchman won the belt at the previous show by a unanimous decision against Korean Jin Ho Park.
Prior moving up a weight class, Ardissone had held the title in a super flyweight division, which he earned by a unanimous decision against Argentinian Federico Roma in 2014. The following year Ignacio Capllonch, the country-fellow of the latter, claimed the title against Frenchman by TKO in Round 6.
The lineup of Full Contact Night 2019 also includes the defending WKN World Super Lightweight champion, Kamel Jebir. Battling out in front of his home crowd he earned the belt by a unanimous decision against Slovakian Samuel Hadzima.
In addition, the former WKN World Featherweight champion Jonathan Pastorino aspires to regain the title, while Anthony Leroy challenges for a vacant WKN European Heavyweight belt. The names of challengers going up against French fighters are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Joining the event calendar, Full Contact Night 2019 is the fifth WKN kickboxing promotion scheduled for this year in France.
