The World Kickboxing Network returns to Spain with two “Hombres de Honor” MMA events scheduled for March in Madrid. The shows presented by Chinto Mordillo kick off the previously announced MMARCA TV programme, following a series of WKN promotions held in the country last year.
The first event takes place on March 8. Top of the bill features Spanish Enoc Solves (23-10) in defense of his WKN International Middleweight title against Brazilian Jorge Filho (7-4). The scheduled for five rounds bout headlines HDH 99.
Sloves earned the belt last February by TKO in the fourth round against Ukrainian Artem Shokalo. In his previous bout last September he defeated Ruslan Shamilov by a unanimous decision.
Filho is riding a two fight win streak. Last July he defeated Rafael Ferreira Macharet by a unanimous decision. Before that he submitted Marcelo Barbosa Ramos in the first round.
The second event is held on March 16. Brazilian-Spanish Carlos Eduardo de Azevedo known as “Teto Terranossa” (13-15) defends his WKN International Bantamweight title against Slovakian Matej Taraba (4-2). The pair battles it out in the main event of HDH 100.
“Teto Terranossa” took the belt by submission in the second round against Daniel Vasquez last April. He is riding a three fight win streak with the victories against Jean Loua, Alberto Espinosa Sabater and Moustapha Aida.
In his previous bout last November Taraba stopped Nicolas Di Franco in the second round at Simply the Best 24. Earlier in his career he defeated Vladimir Drobnak, Sinisa Legen, among others.
