WKG and M-1 Challenge 100
MMA promotion M-1 Global returns to China this coming Saturday (Jan. 26) with the anniversary event held in the city Harbin. The fight card features ten bouts with lightweight title contested in the headliner of the show.
Roman Bogatov (7-0-0) tops the fight-bill making the first defense of his M-1 Challenge lightweight title. He faces the challenger Michel Silva (22-7-1), who is the tallest lightweight in the promotion (188 cm), reads the fact sheet the promotion sent out on Wednesday. The bout is scheduled for five rounds.
In summary the roster includes 20 fighters representing nine different countries. The list includes China, Russia, USA, Brazil, Georgia, Cuba, Greece, Ukraine and Poland.
Among the competitors, Russian Alexander Butenko (46-14-3) is set for his 64th pro-fight. Being the most experienced fighter of this show, he faces Brazilian welterweight Gian Siqueia (16-3-0).
Also on the card American Daniel Swain (18-9-1), who headlined the previous M-1 Global event in China last year. This Saturday he takes on Maxim Pashkov (13-5-0) in the lightweight bout featured on the undercard.
