The World Kickboxing Network announced its second visit to Italy this year scheduled for April 27 at Atlantico Rome. Presented by Colonnese Promotion the event is billed as “Fighting Spirit 7” featuring a series of international bouts with two WKN titles contested on the top of the bill. In addition, the event is a selection for the next edition of Thai Fight held in Italy.
In the main event Italian Emanuele Tetti faces off Samuel Babayan of Spain. The pair battles it out for WKN World Flyweight title. In the co-main event another representative of the country-host Alessandro Moretti takes on Brandon Vieira of France. The contest is for WKN World Super Flyweight title.
Both bouts are scheduled for five rounds in oriental kickboxing (K-1 rules). The championship supervisor is Riccardo Lecca.
Fighting Spirit 7 in Rome follows an upcoming Ringmania VI held on February 2 in Pero (commune in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy). The previous WKN championship event held in Italy took place in the city capital mid December 2018.
Muay Thai promotion Thai Fight is yet to announce the date of its visit to Italy this year. Last year “Kings of Muaythai” visited Rome in April with famed Saenchai battling it out in the headliner of the show. A year earlier Turin was the host of popular fight show.
