WKN France: Villejuif Boxing Show

WKN European Middleweight title is on the line on March 15 in Villejuif (commune in the southern suburbs of Paris), when World Kickboxing Network makes its second visit to France this year. The event billed as “Villejuif Boxing Show” features the representative of the country-host Benjamin Gerbet up against Albanian George Gropaj (12-2-0, 6 KO’s) residing in Greece.

George Gropaj steps in for Maltese kickboxer Christopher Rotin who was initially scheduled for the bout but replaced early this week (via Twitter). The 20-year-old Albanian-Greek fighter represents Alexiou Titans bringing to the table 12 victorious out of 14 bouts in total.

The Benjamin Gerbet vs. George Gropaj championship bout is scheduled for five rounds.

Villejuif Boxing Show follows a recently presented Muay Thai Attitude 7 held in French Les Mureaux (commune in the Yvelines department) this past weekend. The event crowned a new World Kickboxing Network Middleweight champion Milan Kratochvila of Slovakia who stopped local Mickael Lopes da Veiga in the second round with knee.
