Fighting Rookies 4: Ronny Kamenik vs. Luca Renzi
The World Kickboxing Network announced its first visit to Germany this scheduled for March 9. The event billed as Fighting Rookies 4 is held in the city Halle (Saale), following the previous edition presented last May, when Ronny Kamenik claimed WKN German Welterweight title scoring the fourth-round knockout win against Kevin Schotz.
Fighting Rookies 4 is headlined by Kamenik who now aims to earn WKN European pro-amateur belt going up against Italian Luca Renzi. The pair of welterweights battles it out in the scheduled for four by two minute rounds bout in oriental kickboxing (K-1 rules).
The event is presented by Ingo Baberski. The championship supervisor is Klaus Hagemann.
Over the years World Kickboxing Network has been active through Germany presenting the national and world-class events in numerous cities and municipalities including Kiel, Hamburg, Greifswald, Trittau, among others. The likes of Dima Weimer, Kevin Burmester, just to name a couple, contested for prestigious belts.
In addition, the organization announced WKN European Super Cruiserweight title fight between French Sofian Laidouni and Molodovan Dragos Zubco. The contest is held on April 13 in Orchies, France.
