The World Kickboxing Network makes its first visit to Germany this year on March 9. The event billed as “Fighting Rookies 4” takes place in the city Halle (Saale) featuring a series of bouts with two WKN titles contested on the top of the bill.
Ronny Kamenik headlines the event facing off Luca Renzi of Italy. The pair battles it out for WKN European Welterweight pro-amateur title. The bout is scheduled for four by two minute rounds bout in oriental kickboxing (K-1 rules).
On Monday the organization added WKN German title to the roster (via Twitter). The matchup features a pair of super light heavyweights, Robert Varkentin and Sebastian Koch. The pro-amateur contest is also scheduled for four rounds.
Fighting Rookies 4 is presented by Ingo Baberski. The championship supervisor is Klaus Hagemann.
