Bellator 215 kicked off the promotion’s doubleheader held this weekend at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. MMA event presented on February 16 (AEDT) featured the thirteen-fight bill with a heavyweight matchup between Matt Mitrione and Sergei Kharitonov serving as a headliner of the show.

The Mitrione vs. Kharitonov bout ended early in the first round. The inside leg kick thrown by Mitrione landed in the groin of Kharitonov. The latter was unable to recover from the low blow, which resulted in the bout declared as no contest.

The welterweight battle between Logan Storley and Ion Pascu served as the co-main event. The bout went the distance ending in favor of Storley who earned a unanimous decision.

Also on the main card Eduardo Dantas came out victorious by a unanimous decision against Toby Misech from their bantamweight bout. The main card featured five bouts following the eight-fight preliminary card. The complete fight results from Bellator 215 can be found below.

Bellator 216 is held on February 17 (AEDT). The event is headlined by the Welterweight World Grand Prix matchup between Michael Page and Paul Daley.
