The World Kickboxing Network visits Nimes, France on March 30 presenting the first edition of the event billed as “Boxing Fighters System” (BFS). The roster includes local and international competitors in a series of rating and championship bouts.
The third matchup featured on the card has been announced on Sunday (via Twitter). The contest is the all-French kickboxing encounter between the previously announced WKN European Super Lightweight champion Hakim Ketaieb and Alexandre Cilia. The pair squares off in the scheduled for three rounds bout at catchweight with the limit of 67 kg.
The resume of Alexandre Cilia includes the wins against Chafai Djedoui, Jean-Christophe Cadiou, Geoffrey Mocci, among others. Representing Boxing Club Cuxac, the 30-year-old French fighter is coached by his father, former kickboxing champion Yvon Cilia.
BFS 1 Nimes also includes French Mallaury Kalachnikoff up against Polish Katarzyna Jaworska battling it out for WKN International Women’s Lightweight title. In addition, the representative of the country-host Laura Follereau takes on Spanish Mireia Garcia Lopez in the three-round women’s kickboxing bout at 60 kg catchweight.
