The headliner of the first edition of “Boxing Fighters System” (BFS 1) held on March 30 in Nimes, France has been locked in. The contest is a super welterweight battle between the previously announced representative of the country-host Mickael Pignolo and Spanish kickboxer Jordi Requejo.
“The main event has been set featuring Spanish Jordi Requejo of Black Bull Badalona – Team Calvet going up against WKN European Super Welterweight champion Mickael Pignolo of France. The non-title bout is scheduled for three rounds in oriental kickboxing [K-1 rules],” Word Kickboxing Network announced on Sunday.
The resume of Requejo includes the battles against Ruben Semper, Nelson Buale, Andy Carter, among others. He has been also scheduled for the upcoming night of international kickboxing held in June in Barcelona.

The roster of BFS 1 Nimes features some of the best French fighters alongside international competitors coming from Italy, Poland, Switzerland and Spain. The highlight of the show is the women’s kickboxing matchup between French Mallaury Kalachnikoff and Katarzyna Jaworska of Poland battling it out for WKN International Lightweight title.
