Buakaw Banchamek was back in the ring last night (Mar. 9) in Bangkok, Thailand. The famed Muay Thai fighter battled it out in the main event of All Star Fight, billed as “World Soldier”.
Russian Artem Pashporin went up against two-time K-1 World Max champion aspiring to take a revenge. The pair first met in July 2015 in Beijing, China, where Buakaw earned a unanimous decision.
The second bout between Buakaw Banchamek and Artem Pashporin also went the distance. From the opening seconds the Thai fighter put on an aggressive performance. The Russian competitor fought back yet it wasn’t enough to convince the judges.
After three rounds of action Buakaw was pronounced as the winner by a unanimous decision. In his previous bout late January he stopped Niclas Larsen.
