The inaugural Boxing Fighters System (BFS) event was held this past Saturday (Mar. 30) in Nimes marking the first visit of World Kickboxing Network to southern France this year. The fight card featured a series of bouts with local and international competitors coming from Spain, Switzerland, Slovakia and Poland.
French Mickael Pignolo and Spanish Jordi Requejo battled it out in the main event. The scheduled for three rounds super welterweight battle went the distance. The judges couldn’t split the competitors proclaiming a unanimous draw.
The co-main event featured French Mallaury Kalachnikoff in the lightweight contest against Katarzyna Jaworska of Poland. After three rounds of women’s kickboxing a unanimous decision went in favor of local fighter.
Also on the main card French Hakim Ketaieb faced Slovakian Kristian Nguyen in the three-round super lightweight encounter. The result saw the representative of the country-host earning the win by a unanimous decision.
In addition, Mathieu Codron came out victorious by a unanimous decision against his French-fellow Arthur Kopp from their welterweight bout.
