The World Kickboxing Network tops up the event calendar making its first visit for the year to Belgium and Denmark, as well as the return to Northern Ireland. The announcement was made this past weekend during the inaugural event Boxing Fighters System held in Nimes, France.
April 22 marks the return of Kickboxing World Championship to Belgian city-capital. The event billed as “PSM Fight Night” is presented by Team Boughanem in Brussels featuring three title bouts. It follows the previous edition of Simply the Best produced in Farciennes last November (Ep. 24).
The matchups of the upcoming show are expected to be announced in the coming days.

On May 18 World Kickboxing Network visits Aarhus. Danish city on the Jutland peninsula’s east coast is known for numerous world class promotions including boxing series Bigger’s Better 5 and Valhalla – Battle of Vikings (where former UFC Light Heavyweight title challenger Volkan Oezdemir earned his first trophy in MMA becoming the champion of WKN tournament), just to name a couple.
An upcoming show presented by Mohammad Tehrani is headlined by Mathias Egekvist Skovsted in the quest for WKN International Heavyweight title facing off an opponent who is yet to be named.
On June 23 international kickboxing returns to Belfast city center with the next edition of “made-in Prokick” event presented by Billy Murray. A Sunday afternoon Fight-Special takes place at the Clayton Hotel marking the second visit of World Kickboxing Network to Northern Ireland this year.
The previous show was held at Stormont Hotel in February featuring local competitors up against the representatives of Cyprus, Italy, Scotland and Switzerland. The lineup of “Back at the Clayton” is scheduled to “see old favorites as well as a new exciting team of newbies who will bring up the rearguard,” reads the announcement.
