Mathias Egekvist Skovsted vs. Daniel Veidenthaler for WKN International Heavyweight title

The World Kickboxing Network visits Denmark on May 18 with international event held in Aarhus. Presented by Mohammad Tehrani the show is headlined by WKN International Heavyweight title fight between previously announced representative of the country-host Mathias Egekvist Skovsted and Daniel Veidenthaler of Czech Republic.

Daniel Veidenthaler represents Team Hutnik, under the patronage of former World Kickboxing Network Super Heavyweight champion Ondrej Hutnik (via the announcement on Wednesday). The 23-year-old kickboxer brings the record of 10 wins out of twelve professional bouts, as well as 14-8 amateur record. His resume includes the victories against Karen Tumasian, Lukas Vuka, Adrian Bartl, among others.

The Mathias Egekvist Skovsted vs. Daniel Veidenthaler bout is scheduled for three rounds in oriental kickboxing (K-1 rules). The rest of the card features a series of boxing and kickboxing matchups.

Over the years World Kickboxing Network held numerous world-class promotions in Denmark including boxing series Bigger’s Better 5 and Valhalla – Battle of Vikings. The latter is the event where former UFC Light Heavyweight title challenger Volkan Oezdemir earned his first trophy in MMA becoming the champion of WKN tournament.
