Three WKN Spanish title bouts join European championship in Badalona

Four WKN titles on the line in Spanish Badalona

European championship headlines the night of international kickboxing in Spanish Badalona scheduled for July 13. Top of the fight-bill features the representative of the country-host Antonio Campoy contesting for WKN European Lightweight title against an opponent who is yet to be named.


Nevertheless, three additional title bouts have been added to the fight card early this week. The scheduled for three rounds contests in oriental kickboxing (K-1 rules) will crown the new WKN Spanish champions in their respective weight classes (via Twitter). The roster includes local fighters as well as competitors coming from Barcelona and Madrid.

In one of the bouts, fresh of the international challenge in French Nimes, Jordi Requejo takes on his country-fellow Nacho Menen battling it out for the welterweight title. Also on the card Xavier Flotats and Albert Campos square off for the bantamweight belt. In addition, Genis Salas and Farah Silva meet in the lightweight title bout.

The name of challenger going up against Campoy is expected to be announced in the coming weeks. The current lineup can be found below.
