The World Kickboxing Network returns Czech Republic on May 25. The event billed as “Noc Valecniku 16” (Night of Warrior, Eng.) is held in the city Kladno featuring a mixed-fight bill with kickboxing, boxing and MMA bouts presented on the card. The headliner of the show is a contest for WKN International Super Heavyweight title between Czech mixed martial artist Alexander Cverna, who defends his belt against Serbian Dalibor Milutinovic.
Cverna (5-2) earned the strap at Simply the Best 14 Prague when he stopped Adnan Alic in the first round with punches. His resume also includes the wins against Kristof Nataska, Robert Voves, among others.
Milutinovic (4-2) is coming of the first-round TKO win against Vlatko Pecalj. Over the course of his career he also defeated Nemanja Kalpacina, Dragan Botka and Milijko Nikolic.
As of today, according to Nocvalecniku.cz (website of the promotion) the list of other bouts confirmed for the upcoming show includes Jakub Ibl up against Michal Janacek in the scheduled for three rounds kickboxing battle at catchweight with the limit of 100 kg. As well, Karel Horejsek and Tomas Bezvoda square off in the 81 kg boxing encounter. Other matchups are expected to be announced in the near future. The current lineup can be found below.
