Sor Rungvisai vs. Estrada II: WBC, The Ring, lineal super flyweight titles are on the line

Thai boxing star Srisaket Sor Rungvisai faces Mexican Juan Francisco Estrada at The Forum in Inglewood, CA on April 27 (AEDT). The pair squares off for the second time with their first bout held last February at the same venue.

Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (47-4-1, 41 KOs) is a reigning WBC Super Flyweight champion. He earned the belt in March 2017 taking a majority decision against former titleholder Roman Gonzalez. In his following outing he retained the belt stopping the latter in the fourth-round.

Making his second championship defense Srisaket faced Estrada and retained the title taking a majority decision. In addition he collected The Ring and lineal super flyweight titles.

In his previous bout last October Srisaket made the third successful championship defense scoring a unanimous decision against Iran Diaz. The contest followed a non-title bout against Young Gil Bae, which ended in the first round in favor of the Thai fighter.

Juan Francisco Estrada (38-3-0, 26 KOs) is riding the two-fight win streak. After facing a defeat against Srisaket, he bounced back with a unanimous decision win against Felipe Orucuta. In his previous outing last December he took the eighth-round RTD win (corner retirement) against Victor Mendez.

The Srisaket Sor Rungvisai vs. Juan Francisco Estrada 2 championship bout is scheduled for twelve rounds. WBC, The Ring and lineal super flyweight titles are on the line.
