Two WKN world titles were contested on the main card of “Fighting Spirt 7” held last night (April 27) at the Atlantico in Rome, Italy. The event featured local and international competitors coming from France and Spain battling it out for the prestigious belts.
In one of the title fights Italian Emanuele Tetti faced Spanish Samvel Babayan. The pair squared off in the five-round bout in oriental kickboxing (K-1 rules) with WKN Flyweight title at stake. The result saw the local fighter coming out victorious by decision, consequently earning the belt.
In another championship bout Italian Alessandro Moretti took on French Brandon Vieira. The pair battled it out for WKN Super Featherweight strap, also in oriental kickboxing. The guest out of France became a new champion taking the win by TKO in the second round.
Also on the night famed Thai Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee comfortably defeated local Samed Memaj in their 74 kg catchweight Muay Thai feature bout. The undercard included a series of matchups in terms of “Road to Thai Fight”.
