It is unclear whether the encounter still takes place in Hong Kong. More information is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Buakaw Banchamek and Yi Long first met mid 2015 in Jiyuan. After three rounds of action the Thai fighter earned a unanimous decision. Their second battle in November 2016 in Nanjing ended in favor of Long, who took the win also by decision.
