Prokick Kickboxing in Belfast, Northern Ireland
The World Kickboxing Network returns to Northern Ireland on June 23 with the next “made-in Prokick” event held at Clayton Hotel in Belfast. Top of the bill features WKN Intercontinental title fight between a pair of welterweights with local Johnny “Swift” Smith, representing Europe, going up against Korean Lee Ji Hoon, representing Asia. The scheduled for five rounds championship bout headlines the fight card comprising 16 matchups in total.
The roster includes local and international competitors battling it out in a series of kickboxing bouts of all modern styles, including “Oriental” (K-1 rules), “Low Kick” and “Full Contact”. Twelve out of sixteen outings have been set to date.
“Twelve matches made, just four to match for the ProKick International and Championship event at the Clayton Hotel Belfast on Sunday the 23rd June 2019,” promoter of the Prokick event Billy Murray posted on Twitter.

Local Lewis Kirk received an opponent for his 60 kg catchweight bout facing off Jack Molloy of Dublin, Ireland. Both athletes make their debut inside the ring squaring off in Full Contact battle (kicks above the waist).
Previously announced junior competitor Max Nixon is no longer featured on the card listed on Prokick.com.
The likes of Saeed Moradi, Grace Goody, Adam Braniff and Lucy McConnell are yet to be matched. The names of their opponents are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Among the bouts confirmed for the event local Rowena Bolt takes on Ireland’s Chloe Quinn in the scheduled for three rounds women’s kickboxing bout at catchweight with the limit of 50 kg. The current lineup for PROKICK “Back at the Clayton” can be found below.
