The World Kickboxing Network Super Featherweight title is on the line on July 6 in Iglesias, Sardinia. The contest features the previously announced local competitor Nicola Canu up against Vasek Sivak of Czech Republic. The pair battles it out in the main event of “The Night of Super Fight 7”. The championship bout is scheduled for five rounds.
Over the course of his career Nicola Canu earned WKN European Super Featherweight title, as well as successfully defended his belt. His resume includes the wins against Jeremy Legrand, Jouhri Abdelmalek, among others.
Vasek Sivak defeated the likes of Fang Feida and Khaiam Khudoiberdiev. In addition he scored the 2-0 (1 KO) record in pro boxing with the wins against Petr Gina and Richard Walter.

The Canu vs. Sivak bout is the second time when the prestigious WKN belt is contested in Sardinia, a large Italian island in the Mediterranean Sea. The event follows the previous edition in April 2017, when local Lorenzo Piras defeated Belgian Allan Gozdzicki taking WKN Lightweight title.
The World Kickboxing Network also announced its visit to German city Ingolstadt on July 7. Jan Szajko is set to challenge for WKN Super Bantamweight title facing off the challenger who is yet to be named.
In addition, the name of opponent for Yasser Olivier Lagarrigue has been announced in Julien Schelkens. The representative of Reunion takes on Belgian kickboxer in the WKN Intercontinental Super Lightweight title fight, which headlines the event scheduled for June 29 in Saint-Pierre, Reunion Island.
