Alexander Cverna retains WKN International Super Heavyweight title at Noc Valecniku 16
Czech mixed martial artist Alexander Cverna makes successful WKN International Super Heavyweight title defense against Serbian Dalibor Milutinovic in the main event of Noc Valecniku 16

WKN International title was on the line last night (May 25) in Kladno, Czech Republic. The contest featured local mixed martial artist Alexander Cverna up against Serbian super heavyweight Dalibor Milutinovic. The pair battled it out in the main event of Noc Valecniku 16 (Night of Warrior) presented by Pavel Hakim Majer.

Cverna fought in defense of his belt, which he earned against Adnan Alic by submission in the first round at Simply the Best 14 Prague. The contest against Milutinovic also ended prior to the final bell. The Czech fighter submitted his Serbian opponent also in Round 1, consequently retaining his title.

In addition, Cverna updated his record to 6-2. Milutinovic dropped to 4-3.

Noc Valecniku 16 followed the previous event held in Kladno last October, which marked the debut of Girl Power Kickboxing in Czech Republic. Over the weekend World Kickboxing Network announced the next episode (Girl Power 8) scheduled for June 7 in Polish city Bedzin.

In addition, Noc Valecniku 16 in Kladno was presented back to back with TEKB 16, which marked the return of kickboxing World Championship to French city Agde. The event saw Spanish Jordi Requejo taking WKN Super Welterweight title by way of TKO in the first round against Slovakian Stefan Meszaros.
