The WKN International title is on the line on June 22 in Rome, where Riccardo Lecca presents “Invictus Arena 26”. Taking place in the Italian city capital the event marks the fourth visit of World Kickboxing Network to the country this year. Top of the fight-bill features the representative of the country-host Luca Carnevali up against Slovakian light heavyweight Erik Matejovsky, the organization announced on Tuesday.
The resume of Luca Carnevali includes the battles against Filippo Saba, Sylvain Masquelet, among others. In May 2016 the Italian competitor became the winner of the 22nd Hungarian World Cup in Budapest taking Gold in the 91 kg junior division.
Slovakian champion Eric Matejovsky is a team mate of famed “Giant Slovak” Tomas Mozny. Over the course of his career he appeared in four series of Simply the Best Kickboxing, as well as took part in Fight Night Saint Tropez VI, defeating the likes of Jozef Kolodzej, Bernard Plavec and others.

The Carnevali vs. Matejovsky bout is scheduled for three rounds in oriental kickboxing (K-1 rules).
The rest of fight card at Invictus Arena 26 includes a series of boxing, kickboxing and MMA matchups with local and international competitors. Among the bouts Simone D’Anna faces Andrea Marrazzo at featherweight, and Francesco Fringuelli takes on Mattia Tedesco at lightweight.
In addition World Kickboxing Network announced the Argentinian schedule for the next two months (via Twitter). The list of events includes a series of seminars for competitors and officials run by Jorge Acero Cali and Fernando Munoz, as well as the amateur tournament “Estrellas de Acero”.

The next on the organization’s event calendar is the visit to Poland with the eighth episode of Girl Power Kickboxing. The eight-woman knockout tournament takes place in the city Bedzin on June 7.
