Throwback: Trio of Total Carnage Muay Thai bouts

Total Carnage Fight Night

The Total Carnage Fight Night went in history as an amazing promotion and arguably the best Muay Thai production Australia has ever seen. Organized by Cross Promotions International with the support of Jupiters (The Star Gold Coast), the event took place at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on April 7, 2012. Although it was just a day before Easter Sunday, the venue was packed with fans rooting for their favorites and enjoying the evening of world-class competition.

The headline-bout featured the elbow master Nathan “Carnage” Corbett in defense of his WKN World Heavyweight title against Stephane Susperregui of France. The co-main event saw Frank Giorgi and Tobias Alexandersson of Sweden battling it out for a vacant WKN World Welterweight belt. The video of both contests has been previously released. A trio of undercard matchups hit the stream this week.

Mark Lucchiari vs Daniel Smyrk

Among the bouts, local middleweight Mark Lucchiari faced Daniel Smyrk of Victoria. The scheduled for five rounds battle went the distance and ended in a unanimous decision pronounced in favor of representative of the city-host.

Nase Foai vs Amanaki Havili

In addition to the main event bout, the second clash of heavy-hitters featured Nase Foai up against Amanaki Havili. The matchup was another contest between Queensland and Victoria. After three competitive rounds the latter took the win by split decision.

Jai Bradney vs Clayton Cook
