Aline Pereira joins the athlete roster of GLORY Kickboxing signing a multi-year deal, the promotion announced on Thursday. Brazilian super bantamweight joins her brother and coach Alex Pereira, who is a current middleweight champion.
“Power is in my family DNA. All the training I do with my brother is focused on the reality of combat in the ring. He’s the best at his weight, so I’ll be the best at my weight too,” Aline Pereira said (via the announcement sent out by the promotion).
“I think GLORY will evolve me, it will take me to the next stage. I’ve been on a great path so far and I’m in a great place right now: I’ve got technique, I’ve got experience, I’ve got confidence and I am ready to leave my heart and soul inside that ring.”

The resume of Aline Pereira includes the 21-3 record as an amateur, and 5-1, 1 KO as a pro. Over the course of her career the Sao Paulo-born competitor earned national titles. She is now expected to make her international debut inside the GLORY ring.
Marshall Zelaznik, CEO of GLORY Kickboxing, welcomed the new-comer saying that “The Pereira’s are making history by being the first brother-and-sister pair to be signed to GLORY. Aline has set a goal for them to be the first siblings in GLORY history to hold belts at the same time.”
“Now she has the chance to see if she can achieve that dream and we’re excited to witness her journey here in GLORY. She is a great addition to the division.”
The date, place and opponent for Aline Pereira’s GLORY debut is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
The next on the promotion’s event calendar is GLORY 66 Paris held on June 22. The event features a trio of championship bouts. The fight card can be found here.
