Also on the main card Demian Maia came in at 171 for his three-round welterweight encounter with Rocco Martin, who was 170.5. The contest follows a pair of lightweight matchups featuring Roosevelt Roberts (156) up against Vinc Pichel (155.5), and Drew Dober (156) face off Marco Polo Reyes (155). Alonzo Menifield and Paul Craig weighed-in at 204.5 and 204 (respectively) for their light heavyweight battle that kicks off the main card.
The six-fight main card follows the preliminary card also comprising six bouts. The latter lost a featherweight contest after Vince Murdock was required “further medical evaluation for competition”, which resulted in removal of his bout against Jordan Griffin.
“Murdock had stepped in for the injured Chas Skelly on short notice. The bout will not be replaced and Saturday’s card at Target Center in Minneapolis will proceed as scheduled with 12 bouts,” reads the statement.
