This year “Thai Fight” celebrates its tenth anniversary. Following the event held last Saturday (June 29) in Betong (southern Thailand), the promotion announced its visit to northeast Thailand presenting “Thai Fight Udon” in Udon Thani on August 24. An upcoming show is the fifth edition in 2019 after the events in Betong, Samui, Nakhon Si Thammarat and Phuket.
The recent event featured nine bouts in Muay Thai and Kard Chuek, where instead of boxing gloves the rope is used around hand and forearm. Famed Saenchai headlined the fight-bill taking a three-round unanimous decision against Argentine Cristian Pastore. In addition he updated his record to 310-49-2, riding the 47-win streak since November 2014.
