Argentinian star Federico Roma was back in the ring this past Saturday (July 6) in Morón, Buenos Aires. Battling it out on the main card of Bosch Tour: Estrellas de Acero, “The Little Big Man” faced Darwin Saavedra of Uruguay. The pair squared off in the scheduled for three rounds international kickboxing bout at bantamweight.

The encounter didn’t go the distance. The representative of the country-host scored the win by knockout in the second round. The victory marked his return on the winning path after a stoppage defeat suffered against Tenshin Nasukawa at the RISE World Series in March. In addition, Roma updated his record to 64-4-1, 32 KO.

Over the course of his career Federico Roma has held WKN World Super Bantamweight titles in two different disciplines (oriental rules and Muay Thai). His resume includes the wins against Tomasz Makowski, Tristan Gaetano, among others.

In addition, World Kickboxing Network revealed that Roma has already been scheduled for his next international outing (via Twitter).

Also at Bosch Tour, Gaston Monroe became a new WKN Argentinian Lightweight Kickboxing champion after he scored a unanimous decision against his country-fellow Dylan Salazar. The event was one of four championship bout that World Kickboxing Network presented this past Saturday in four different countries, such as Italy, Portugal, Bulgaria and Argentina.

Among the bouts, Brandon Vieira of France earned his second world title when he scored a unanimous decision against Nicola Canu of Italy in the headliner of The Night of Super Fight in Iglesias, Sardinia. Frenchman became a two-style WKN World Super Featherweight champion holding the belts in oriental kickboxing and low kick.
