The very first event was headlined by Jerome Le Banner, then champion, in defense of his WKN Super Heavyweight title against Vitaly Akhramenko. The previous show held last year saw Yohan Lidon making his fourth successful WKN Super Middleweight title defense against Yoann Kongolo.

Over the years the likes of Greg Tony, Chomanee Sor Taehiran, Tomas Mozny, Nicolas Wamba, Stefan Leko, Bob Sapp, among others, battled it out at the Fight Night. In addition, K-1 kickboxing legend Peter Aerts himself, made his appearance inside the ring of Saint Tropez.

The list of VIPs saw such Hollywood super stars as Sylvester Stallone and Mickey Rourke, as well as a number of French celebrities, including Bernard Montiel, Vincent Lagaf, Amel Bent, Sophie Tapie.

The year of 2019 has missed on the famed show. Nevertheless, the seventh edition of Fight Night Saint Tropez is expected to take place on August 4, 2020, according to the message on Twitter shared by World Kickboxing Network on Monday.
