The next edition of “made in Prokick” events takes place at Stormont Hotel in Belfast, Northern Ireland on October 26. Billed as “Lord of the Ring”, the fight show features a series of matchups with local and international competitors representing the country-host, Scotland, Wales, England, Ireland, Iran and Japan.
Following the announcement of the main and co-main event bouts, the promotion revealed the names of athletes expected to battle it out on the undercard. The list includes the likes of Salman Shariati, Rowena Bolt, Reza Davies, Alex Ekhtiyari, and others (via Prokick.com).
Shariati, Davies, Ekhtiyari appeared at the previous show produced in June. Bolt was scheduled to face Chloe Quinn, but the bout didn’t go ahead. The names of their opponents at the upcoming event are expected to be announced shortly.
Prokick “Lord of the Ring” features Johnny “Swift” Smith of Northern Ireland in defense of his WKN Intercontinental Welterweight title against Shuhei Sone of Japan. The contest is scheduled for five rounds in oriental rules (K-1 style).
In addition, the event marks a return of “Belfast Boy” Gary Hamilton. Former two-division World Kickboxing Network champion (featherweight and lightweight) takes on Douglas Morrison of Scotland in the “18 years in the making” rematch. The pair squares off in the scheduled for seven rounds non-title Full Contact bout at super welterweight.

The lineup of the upcoming event also includes a series of junior and novice bouts. The matchups are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
