Two-sport champion Stamp Fairtex faces Asha Roka tomorrow night (August 16) in Bangkok, Thailand. The pair squares off in the scheduled for three rounds women’s MMA bout at atomweight. The contest is featured on the main card of “ONE Dreams of Gold” held at Impact Arena.

The 21-year-old Thai champion makes her second appearances as a mixed martial artist, previously winning both, kickboxing and Muay Thai belts. Stamp made her MMA debut in July 2018, declaring a head kick knockout in 19 seconds against Rashi Shinde.

With an idea to claim the third belt in the near future, in her next fight Stamp faces Asha Roka. The latter holds an undefeated 4-0 record, winning all bouts prior to the final bell.

“I am very excited that I finally get to fight in an MMA match again. I have prepared myself mentally and physically for this upcoming match. My journey for a third sports title is about to begin and I am ready to face anyone,” Stamp said (via a feature sent out by the promotion).

Talking her opponent she said that “Roka has a strong boxing skill and she can knock anyone out.”

“I have been improving my movements in the fight to make sure that she will not land her blows. As for my ground game, it will be fun. I don’t want to reveal too much but I have a special surprise for her and the fans as well.”

In addition, Stamp Fairtex said that she enjoys competing in MMA thanks to similarities with Muay Thai like clinching.

“I can really do well in a clinch and in this sport, I can stay longer in a clinch and wrestling position where I can dominate. I am really excited about this match and I am doing everything I can to be well prepared for it.”

In the main event of “ONE Dreams of Gold” Petchdam Petchyindee Academy defends his ONE Flyweight Kickboxing title against Ilias Ennahachi.

Also on the card Giorgio Petrosyan and Jo Nattawut face off for the second time, battling it out in one of the semi-finals of ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix. In another semi-final Dzhabar Askerov takes on Samy Sana.
