“Stamp displayed her improving ground game by taking Roka down and controlling her on the mat. In the third and final round, Stamp sent the Thai crowd into a frenzy by locking in a rear naked choke and forcing Roka to tap out,” reads the post event recap sent out by the promotion.
Ultimately Stamp Fairtex updated her MMA record to 2-0, following the 19-second knockout debut made last July against Rashi Shinde. She aspires to become MMA champion, previously claiming both, kickboxing and Muay Thai belts.
“My journey for a third sports title is about to begin and I am ready to face anyone,” Stamp Fairtex said ahead of her fight with Asha Roka.
In her previous outing in June the Thai fighter retained her atomweight Muay Thai belt by unanimous decision against Alma Juniku. She captured kickboxing strap in the same weight class, scoring a unanimous decision against former champion Kai Ting Chuang in October 2018.
Asha Roka suffered the first defeat in her professional MMA career and dropped to 4-1.
In the main event of ONE Dreams of Gold Ilias Ennahachi knocked out Petchdam Petchyindee Academy in the third round to become a new flyweight kickboxing champion. Also on the night Georgio Petrosyan and Samy Sana advanced to the final of featherweight kickboxing World Grand Prix.
