Those who follow Muay Thai are hands down familiar with the likes of Buakaw Banchamek and Saenchai PKSaenchaimuaythaigym. Both are arguably the most famous representative of the “The Art of Eight Limbs” (of the current era of sport), alongside Yodsanklai Fairtex.
The competitors have also faced one another twice, sort of. The “Going Down” post hit the stream in May 2018 featuring Buakaw face off Saenchai at the gym. In June, the latter “got bullied” by “White Lotus” and Sudsakorn Sor. Klinmee on the football field, or one can say got a pay-back for being cheeky.
A new video recently hit the stream featuring Buakaw and Saenchai putting on a new showdown during a football game.
“Everywhere is Muay Thai Stadium, Buakaw,” Saenchai captioned the video on Instagram.
Several elbows, kicks and knees were thrown (playing) as expected in Muay Thai. Yet, it was not over when it got to the floor. Buakaw performed ground and pound (alike) on his fellow, and perhaps was thinking of a rear naked choke? If you haven’t seen it – check out the footage below.

Over the course of his career Saenchai earned prestigious Lumpinee Boxing Stadium championship in four different weight classes. Riding the 47-fight win streak, in his next outing he headlines Thai Fight Udon Thani held on August 24. The name of his opponent is yet to be announced.
Two time K-1 World MAX champion Buakaw was scheduled to face Kung Fu practitioner Yi Long in a trilogy bout on October 8 in Hong Kong. The contest fell off late last week after the latter was forced to withdraw citing back injury. The replacement opponent to take on “White Lotus” is yet to be determined.
